If your sink, shower, or bathtub isn't draining properly, there may be a clog in the drain. Visit your local hardware store to purchase drain cleaning products. Please be careful not to use caustic chemicals in your drain, as these could damage the plumbing system.
Toilet Clogs
If your toilet clogs, please use a plunger to attempt to resolve the issue.
If you lose power in your rental home, call your utility company to learn more. There may be a hiccup with your account, problems on the local grid, or downed lines in your area.
If you don't have hot water in your rental, locate the water heater and check that the settings are accurate. If you can cycle the system, this may reset the tank to its default settings.
You also should verify that the water heater is on and if using gas, that the pilot light is lit.
Please wait 15 to 20 minutes after making any changes to allow the water enough time to heat.
